Delhi Schools Will Remain Closed Till October 5th, Online Classes Will Continue – News

A major and important decision has been taken regarding schools in the national capital Delhi amid increasing cases of corona infection (COVID-19). According to the Directorate of Education, till 5th October 2020, all schools will remain closed for students in Delhi. During this time all online classes and learning activities can be continued as before. So at the same time, Delhi High Court has given important instructions to the University of Delhi regarding the university examinations.

The Delhi High Court directed the University of Delhi to expedite the evaluation of open book examination papers. It is believed that the results of the final year examinations can be declared by the first week of October.

At the same time, Delhi University has opened the application correction window on 12 September 2020. Candidates who have registered for admission can enter their marks and can also make other changes. For this, candidates have till October 5, 2020. The final cut-off list will be made after thorough correction. DU is also preparing that the first cut-off list is released after the 12th class improvement results.

According to the Delhi government, at this time there are 31721 active cases, which had reduced to near 10,000. However, 18,038 Corona patients are in home isolation. And around two lakh (1,98,103) people have recovered and returned to their homes.

According to the Delhi Government Health Bulletin, 60,014 samples were tested on Wednesday. The infection rate in the national capital is 7.38 percent. At the same time, a total of 23,69,592 tests have been conducted in Delhi so far. Apart from this, the corona infection rate in Delhi is 9.09 percent, while the death rate is 2.08 percent.
