He got run out after hitting 5 boundaries (3 fours and 2 sixes) on the final ball of the last over of the innings. Stoinis scored a total of 53 runs in 21 balls and later, saved the team from defeat by taking wickets on the last two balls of the last over.

Stoinis was appointed as the man of the match. Mayank Agarwal scored a stunning 89 for Punjab but in the end, all his hard work proved to be useless.
