India has again successfully tested the Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missiles (QRSAM) on Tuesday. The missile system hit exactly the target during the trial. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO for this successful test.
He wrote in the tweet – “Congratulations to DRDO for successful testing of QRSAM. The first launch test on 13th Nov proved the Radar and Missile capabilities with a direct hit. Today’s test demonstrated the warhead performance on proximity detection.”
This missile has been prepared by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). A successful test was also conducted on Tuesday, 13 November. The person familiar with the matter had said that the missile had completely destroyed its target. This missile can hit the target up to 30 km in the sky by flying in the air.
The special thing is that the mobile vehicle on which this missile was placed, has a missile on one and a radar on the other. Because of this, it can be easily moved from one place to another at the time of the attack. The first trial of QRSAM was done on 4 June 2017.
DRDO Is Doing Fast Trials
In the last one and a half months, DRDO has conducted tests of at least 12 missiles. It is believed that some more tests are to be done in the coming time. The special thing is that such high speed of testing has come at a time when tension is continuing between the Line of Actual Control between India and China in Ladakh.
